Region
EAST AFRICA
The Great Migration moves through the Serengeti and Masai Mara between July and October, and gorilla trekking in Bwindi sits a short flight to the west.

SOUTHERN AFRICA
Water defines the south. The Okavango Delta is reached only by light aircraft, which keeps it remote and uncrowded, and the dry season concentrates game along the Zambezi and Chobe rivers.

Region
West Africa
Quieter and wilder than the east. Forest elephants gather in the bais of Odzala-Kokoua, and the beaches of Gabon hold nesting turtles and the surfing hippos of Loango through the season.

Region
INDIAN OCEAN ISLANDS
Where the journey slows. Reefs off the Seychelles and the spice coast of Zanzibar pair naturally with a few quiet days at the end of a longer safari.
